MVA 495 Section 3 June 3, 2009

First on scene was Res 1 at 18:02:00, Action taken was 22 (Rescue, remove from harm). The response time was 7.00, last unit cleared the scene at 19:15:00, and the duration of the call was 80.00 minutes.

We responded to 495 Section 3 at the Milford line for an MVA. R-1 was dispatched. Upon our arrival we found a car versus tree with the drive trapped inside. A-1's crew went to work on patient care while R-1's crew went to work with the jaws removing the passenger door. Milford crews arrived and assisted with the extrication. The passengers door was removed and the dash was rolled to release the patients feet which were trapped between the door and floor board. The passengers left door was also removed and the patient was removed through this door and loaded into our ambulance. AMR Milford medics assisted with patient care.
